"I first began hypnotherapy as a last resort trying to deal with a husband with a severe substance abuse problem. My aim was to, perhaps, get help for my husband and learn ways to deal with the resulting issues I endured as the partner of an addict. I was a patient of Dr. John Kappas at the time. When Dr. Kappas moved to NY he "gave" me to Marc Gravelle. My husband, by the way, chose drugs and alcohol over any kind of therapy, but I divorced him and continued therapy with Marc. That was mid 90's. Everything I have been through, in the past 15 years, including a divorce, having a child with a crazy guy who made my life hell, the death of both of my parents, losing my business, financial problems, relationship issues, etc....Marc has been there for me. I can honestly say, I made it through some really horrendous times with no medication, no psychotherapy, no drugs or alcohol, just hypnotherapy. Frankly if I had listened to Marc instead of going off on a tangent a few times, a lot of the issues I had would have either not happened at all or been far less detrimental. I have learned my lesson since. I could not have survived those times without the amazing therapy and peace of mind Marc's methods and therapy sessions provided for me. I have found, every single issue in life, no matter how big or small, can be completely solved or at least dealt with through hypnotherapy. Marc is an amazing person. When you have a session with him you feel like you are talking to a friend, to a real person. He can take a situation you present him with and help you completely turn it around in your head so when you walk out of there you feel like, "What was I so worried about, this is no big deal, I can handle it." Amazingly if you do what he recommends and go to your sessions, the problems dissolve and a new level of awareness begins to emerge, changing and enhancing all areas of your life. That has been my experience. Looking back over the past several years, which have been extremely challenging for me, it scares me to think of what could have happened had i not been receiving hypnotherapy from Marc. I recommend it to everyone. Especially for people who do not want medication or a medical approach, there is nothing better. Everyone should try it and Marc is the best of the best.
